Web Technologies

Web Technologies

The Information Systems Technology Department offers an Associate in Science Degree in Web Technologies that is designed for students interested in becoming webmasters or web developers to design, develop and maintain both front and back-end components of websites. Through an in-depth course of study and a capstone project, students learn to create, maintain and manage industry-standard websites and commerce sites on networks. Graduates of this program will be prepared for entry-level employment in the rapidly growing field of web authoring software and web development.

Graduates of this program will be prepared for entry-level employment as web developers, front-end developers, UX designers, web designers, and more.  Some graduates choose to enhance their career opportunities by transferring to a four-year school to continue their education in a variety of fields.

MassTransfer - Through the MassTransfer program, your web technologies degree from RCC transfers as two years of completed work towards at Bachelor's degree at most state colleges and universities.  Review the A2B pathways on the MassTransfer website. RCC also has articluation agreements with private universities that allow for seamless transfer to a four-year school upon completion of your web technologies degree at RCC:
