it's the final countdown

Week 10 baby! I knew that I had to have a good week because my parents were coming on Saturday afternoon until Sunday and there would be no time to work out between them leaving and my birthday celebration. I substituted spin class for fighter fitness on Monday evening. It was a great workout but I was pretty exhausted on Tuesday morning. Good thing I planned to run with Lauren, because it definitely helped me perk up to have someone to talk and laugh with along the way.

Wednesday climbing was good - I climbed with some new people and pushed myself to try a new 5.10 route. I was literally one hold away from the top and I just didn't have it in me, despite trying it approximately fifteen times. Friday I had an AMAZING afternoon run along the esplanade. Seriously, who would have thought that I'd be able to run in crops and just a long sleeved tech shirt at the end of February IN NEW ENGLAND?! Amazing.

My long run was stressful. My parents didn't call me when they were leaving so I wasn't able to time my run right. I couldn't settle in or relax. I kept checking my phone to make sure that my parent's weren't at my doorstep waiting for me. But, I got it done and it's going to have to hold me over for Hyannis on Sunday. Which is in four days. Meep.
